Pa Pa Pa Pa Brazilian Song Does Anyone Have A Recipe Called Brazilian Beer Cookies?

Does anyone have a recipe called Brazilian Beer Cookies? - pa pa pa pa brazilian song

Several years ago my mother found a recipe in the newspaper mentioned in Erie, PA Brazil Beer Cookies. He became one of our favorite family, but the recipe was lost some years ago. I remember him is that he uses 1 / 4 c beer to the dry ingrediants, including flour and spices to moisten. Has the balls of dough and put the balls in colored sugar. Then he cooked. I've tried the recipe again with little success. Can anyone help? Thank you for everything you do!

Brazil Beer Cookies ...
2 cups flour
Sugar 1 / 2 cup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 cup butter or margarine, soft
Beer 1 / 4 cup
1 / 4 cup sugar colored sprinkles

1. Sift together 2 cups flour, sugar, 1 / 2 cup, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder tea. Cut into 1 / 2 cup butter or margarine, softened. Add beer, 1 / 4 cup (a ball) at a time, until the batter is the consistency of pie crust. Break-teaspoon-sized pieces and roll into small balls. Flatten with bottom of glass. Mix 1 / 4 cup colored sprinkles on top.

2. Place in a lightly greased cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 2 dozen
